Ripple has unlocked 1 billion XRP from escrow as October begins. According to Whale Alert, four transactions have been flagged in connection with this monthly unlock. The majority of these tokens are expected to return to escrow.

The total number of XRP still sitting in escrow is approximately 31.8 billion, which represents nearly 32% of the entire supply controlled by one company. This situation has led to concerns about market uncertainty and dilution risk.
