Ripple Unveils Swell 2026 Lineup Featuring Wall Street Heavyweights and Matt Damon
Ripple has announced its full speaker lineup for Swell 2026, taking place from October 27-29 at The Shed in New York City. Over 1,500 attendees are expected to join the conference. This year's event combines Ripple's flagship Swell conference with Apex and UBRI Connect.
The lineup features a diverse range of speakers from various industries, including Wall Street, global banking, academia, and beyond. Among them is actor Matt Damon, who will be speaking alongside Water.org co-founder and CEO Gary White in a keynote conversation moderated by Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse.
The discussion with Damon and White will focus on how financial infrastructure can address the issue of moving money quickly and cheaply, using Water.org's financing model as an example. Ripple claims that its Payments platform and dollar-backed RLUSD stablecoin will make Water.org's work across Asia, Africa, and Latin America more efficient.
The conference also includes sessions on the convergence of crypto and traditional finance, moderated by Garlinghouse, and a fireside chat on the future technical development of XRPL. Other notable speakers include Tom Farley, chairman and CEO of Bullish, and Robinhood's Johann Kerbrat, senior vice president and general manager of Crypto and International.
