A significant calendar of events is shaping up for Ripple and its native token XRP over the next four months. GenXRP, a crypto enthusiast, has compiled a list of key dates that will impact both the Ripple ecosystem and the broader policy landscape affecting cryptocurrencies.
The period begins in September with important decisions from Evernorth shareholders on a Nasdaq listing under the ticker XRPN. On September 30th, Armada II holders will vote on a merger at 12 PM ET. The following day, up to 1B XRP tokens will be unlocked as part of a routine XRP escrow unlock.
In October, momentum builds with the XRP Seoul event taking place during Korea Blockchain Week on October 3rd. Ripple executive Monica Long and representatives from Woori, Kakao Bank, and Kyobo will attend. The event signifies continued Asian expansion for Ripple.
The XRPL receives significant attention in October as well, with Batch and Delegation upgrades set to activate on October 8-9, contingent on validator support exceeding 80%. These upgrades strengthen the underlying protocol and expand validator capabilities.
