Ripple's RLUSD Surpasses $2.5B Valuation Amid $790M Minting Effort

Ripple's stablecoin, RLUSD, has surpassed $2.5 billion in valuation after the company minted $790 million worth of the asset over the past month.

The majority of this supply activity started on September 17 and has remained high since then, with Ripple deploying $419 million worth of RLUSD on Ethereum and the XRP Ledger.

However, despite increased activity, intraday mint figures have mostly stayed below $50 million, with occasional spikes like $76.3 million on September 21 and $130.3 million on September 25.

Ripple has also burned a substantial amount of RLUSD in the past month, bringing the net supply change over the last 30 days to $152 million.
