Ripple's Stablecoin Push Hits a Wall Amid Regulatory Uncertainty
Ripple's push for its dollar-pegged stablecoin RLUSD is running into challenges despite significant infrastructure development.
The stablecoin's market capitalization has slipped nearly 5% over the past month, and monthly transfer volumes have dropped by a quarter from $14.6 billion to $11 billion.
Ripple has been aggressively building out RLUSD's infrastructure, launching automated minting platforms like Ripple Mint and forging compliance partnerships with companies like Notabene.
However, the growth in wallet count and active addresses has not translated into more money moving through the system, raising questions about whether institutional adoption is truly on the rise.
