Ripple's XRP Faces Steep Climb to Reach $25 Target
Ripple's XRP token has seen significant price swings in recent months. If investors are looking to reach the ambitious target of $25 by 2030, they will need a nearly sevenfold increase from its current all-time high of $3.65. At the moment, XRP is trading at $1.50 and would require a 1,570% gain to hit this target.
Assuming that XRP's market share remains steady at 3.3%, the total cryptocurrency market would need to expand significantly to reach the required $48 trillion. Alternatively, if the market remains stagnant, XRP would need to capture over half of the total market value to reach its goal.
However, a major hurdle in reaching this target is the growing supply of XRP tokens. As Ripple releases more coins into circulation each month, it increases the amount of money needed to sustain the higher price. This has raised concerns that the token may struggle to maintain its current momentum and achieve the ambitious $25 target.
For now, investors are focusing on breaking through the $3.65 milestone, which is about 143% higher than XRP's current price. If the coin can overcome this barrier and begin to capture a larger share of the market, discussions around reaching $25 could gain momentum.
