Ripple's XRP Plummets 2.71% to $1.51 in One Hour

Ripple's XRP fell sharply in one hour on September 29, dropping to $1.51 at 11:28 a.m. ET (15:28 UTC). This marked a decline of 2.71% from the previous hour's price of $1.55 in Binance's XRP/USDT spot market.

Despite this short-term drop, XRP remained up 1.14% from its value 24 hours earlier. The cryptocurrency ranked fifth by market capitalization at approximately $94.47007 billion at the time of measurement.

The sharp decline in XRP's price was accompanied by significant liquidations across major exchanges Binance, Bybit, and OKX. Long positions were affected the most, with a total of $1.07 million in liquidated longs and $50,000 in short positions.
