RippleX Ships Batch V1.1 Amendment After Fixing Critical Signature-Validation Bug

RippleX has released Batch V1.1, an amended version of its Batch amendment for the XRP Ledger after fixing a critical signature-validation bug. The original Batch amendment was set aside in February due to the flaw, which could have allowed attackers to execute transactions on behalf of victim accounts without their private keys.

The root-cause fix was reviewed by four senior engineers and audited by Sherlock, Halborn, and Common Prefix with AI-assisted Cantina scans and regression testing. Batch enables atomic transactions for atomic swaps and multi-party coordination but must win an 80% validator majority for 14 consecutive days to activate.

The upgrade improves protocol security and adoption prospects for crypto, DeFi, DEX, and CEX integrations, following recent BIS testing and rising ETF/derivatives interest in XRP. No funds were at risk because the amendment never activated.
