RISEx Launches Public Rewards Program with Over $3B in Cumulative Trading Volume
RISEx, an ultra-high-performance perpetuals exchange built on the high-throughput RISE Chain, has officially launched its public rewards program called Ignite: Season 1. This marks a significant milestone in the protocol's broader ecosystem rollout and its journey toward long-term community ownership and future token distribution.
The program follows an invite-only beta phase that generated over $3 billion in cumulative trading volume. The launch also comes amidst a massive structural shift in crypto derivatives, with decentralized perpetuals rapidly devouring centralized venue market share.
According to Sam Battenally, CEO and co-founder of RISE Labs, the team prioritized stability and core infrastructure before launching incentives programs. 'Too often, points programs are deployed prematurely to mask unfinished infrastructure or buy empty, temporary volume,' he said. The exchange now features institutional-grade architecture with 5 Ggas/s throughput and 1-millisecond latency.
Ignite Season 1 will distribute 200,000 points per week, settled every Tuesday, with the first weekly distribution on July 28, 2026, at 14:00 UTC. The program is expected to end no later than Q2 2027 and has a deliberate design choice to track real product progress rather than a marketing calendar.
