Risk Assets Rebound as Bitcoin Surges Past $65,000

Bitcoin reclaimed the $65,000 level as lower oil prices improved demand for risk assets.

The easing of U.S.-Iran tensions pushed oil prices down, which in turn boosted airline and cruise stocks. The Brent crude price dropped about 6.3% to $90.60 per barrel.

U.S. stock futures rose after the tension reduction, with Dow futures gaining around 0.85%, S&P 500 futures advancing 0.87%, and Nasdaq 100 futures rising approximately 1.49%. The tech-heavy index was bolstered by lower energy prices.

The recovery of risk assets also led to a rebound in Bitcoin, which traded near $65,062, gaining roughly 1% during the session after moving between $64,359 and $65,598.
