RLUSD Can't Replace XRP on XRPL, Says Digital Ascension Group Chairman

Jake Claver, chairman of Digital Ascension Group, recently stated that Ripple's dollar-backed stablecoin RLUSD cannot replace XRP as the XRPL routing asset. According to him, RLUSD and XRP serve fundamentally different roles on the XRP Ledger.

The two tokens have distinct uses, which preserves XRP's utility and implies continued adoption and demand for XRP liquidity and routing even as stablecoin use grows.
