Ripple's stablecoin RLUSD has expanded its reach in South Korea, securing listings across the country's four largest cryptocurrency exchanges.

The move gives RLUSD direct access to won-based traders, joining markets for Bitcoin and Tether. Upbit and Bithumb completed the rollout on July 29 and 27, respectively, after Coinone and Korbit paved the way earlier.

Ripple Senior Vice President of Stablecoins and Standard Custody CEO Jack McDonald highlighted RLUSD's expansion on X: 'RLUSD is now live across Korea's four largest exchanges. Upbit & Bithumb, Korea's two largest licensed exchanges, have added direct RLUSD trading, joining Coinone & Korbit.'

The Korean rollout is part of a broader effort to make RLUSD usable across trading, payments, and institutional settlement.
