RLUSD Market Capitalization Surges 86% in 2026

Ripple's stablecoin RLUSD has seen significant growth in its market capitalization this year. As of current data, the circulating supply of RLUSD stands at approximately $2.49 billion, up from around $1.33 billion at the start of 2026. This represents an increase of over 86% since the beginning of the year.

The growth of RLUSD has narrowed the market capitalization gap between it and PYUSD, issued by PayPal. PYUSD currently holds a market capitalization of approximately $2.73 billion, reducing the difference to around $248 million.

Data from the past week reveals differing trends between the two stablecoins. While the supply of RLUSD increased by approximately $112 million, the supply of PYUSD decreased by around $61 million since its peak in March at $4.214 billion.
