RLUSD Nears Overtaking PYUSD as Largest Stablecoin
Ripple's stablecoin, RLUSD, is closing in on PayPal's PYUSD, with just $248 million separating them from taking over as the largest stablecoin.
According to Token Terminal data, both RLUSD and PYUSD saw significant growth in new supply, with RLUSD at $82.1 million and PYUSD at $82.7 million, beating out Tether (USDT) and other stablecoins.
The gap between the two has been narrowing since September 26, when RLUSD reached an all-time high of $2.491 billion, while PYUSD peaked at $2.779 billion.
