$RLUSD Soars to New High Amid Global Stablecoin Market

Ripple's stablecoin $RLUSD has experienced remarkable growth in its market capitalization, reaching a new high. According to recent data, the circulating supply of $RLUSD has increased to approximately $2.49 billion, with a growth rate exceeding 86% since the start of the year.

At the beginning of 2026, $RLUSD's market capitalization was around $1.33 billion, but it has now surpassed that figure significantly. The stablecoin's market share remains relatively low, as the global stablecoin market is valued at approximately $306 billion.

The supply of $RLUSD on both the $XRP Ledger and Ethereum networks has seen growth. Between September 21-28, the $RLUSD supply on $XRP Ledger increased by approximately $63 million, while on Ethereum it rose by about $49 million.

The market capitalization gap between $RLUSD and $PYUSD, issued by PayPal, is rapidly closing, with $PYUSD currently holding a market capitalization of around $2.73 billion.
