RLUSD Surpasses $2 Billion Market Cap as XRP Ledger Supply Nears $1 Billion

Ripple's RLUSD stablecoin has reached a market capitalization of $2.11 billion, less than two years after its global launch in December 2024.

The milestone reflects additional issuance rather than price appreciation, as RLUSD seeks to maintain a $1 price.

Nearly $1 billion of the circulating supply has been issued on the XRP Ledger, while Ethereum holds slightly more RLUSD. Standard Custody issues RLUSD under New York oversight and maintains segregated reserve accounts for holders.
