RLUSD Surpasses XRP in AI Agent Settlements on XRPL AI Hub

RLUSD has surpassed XRP in AI agent settlements tracked by XRPL AI Hub, according to recent data. The stablecoin recorded 7,306.63 units in AI agent settlements, while XRP had 6,207.40 units. This means that RLUSD is now a prominent payment asset within the hub's tracked AI activity.

The figures are based on data from XRPL AI Hub, which processes nearly eight million transactions per day, with an average of over 250,000 transactions per day over the past seven days. The live activity feed includes small RLUSD payments made to AI inference services, allowing agents to pay for individual requests.

The difference between RLUSD and XRP is particularly relevant for services priced on a per-request basis. An AI agent making repeated API calls must account for each payment against its available budget. Since RLUSD is designed to maintain a one-to-one value with the U.S. dollar, it can provide predictable dollar-based pricing.
