RLUSD Tops $1 Billion Milestone on XRP Ledger Amid Liquidity Surge

The XRP Ledger has reached a historic milestone as the circulating supply of RLUSD surpassed $1 billion for the first time. According to the Ripple Stablecoin Tracker website, the current circulating supply of RLUSD on the XRP Ledger is $1,024,222,594. This achievement comes amid increased liquidity and activity across supported blockchain networks, including the XRP Ledger.

Over the last 48 hours, there has been a surge in RLUSD minting on the XRP Ledger, with new transactions taking place. On August 27, $26.2 million RLUSD was minted with $6.9 million burned; on August 28 so far, $36.9 million RLUSD has been minted with $7.5 million burned.

The Ripple Stablecoin X account reported three of these transactions, which occurred over the last 24 hours. Additionally, Ethereum received RLUSD transactions in the last 24 hours, with $53.3 million minted on August 28 and $5 million burned.
