Robinhood Bets on HYPE Cryptocurrency Price in 2026 Prediction Market
Robinhood has launched a prediction market for the price of the cryptocurrency HYPE on October 6, 2026, at 7 PM EDT. The market allows users to bet on whether the price will reach specific thresholds, with current odds showing 88 cents for the price to be $91.5 or above, 52 cents for $91.75 or above, and 23 cents for $92 or above.
The price used to determine the market's outcome is based on CF Benchmarks' Real Time Index (RTI), which collects 60 prices in the final minute before expiration and averages them to determine the official value. Payouts are made within an hour of the event's resolution, and users can either hold their contracts or close their positions before the event resolves.
Trading is available 24 hours a day, except for a two-hour maintenance window on Thursdays from 3 AM to 5 AM ET. The market is offered by Robinhood Derivatives, LLC through various exchanges, and users are reminded that trading involves significant risk and may not be suitable for everyone.
