Robinhood Chain Data Posting Delayed by Layer-1 Blob Market Conditions
Robinhood Chain, an Ethereum layer-2 blockchain, experienced a temporary delay in data posting due to conditions in the layer-1 blob market. Arbitrum, which provides infrastructure for Robinhood Chain, stated that there was no impact on user trade processing or network operations.
The delay occurred while transaction batches were being recorded on the Ethereum mainnet. Despite performance issues at some infrastructure providers, Arbitrum said that Robinhood Chain continued to provide real-world asset (RWA) tokenization and 24-hour on-chain trading without disruption.
Arbitrum wrote on its official X account on Sept. 4 that 'there has been no downtime of any kind on Robinhood Chain.' The network, built on Arbitrum technology, focuses on tokenizing real-world assets, or RWAs, such as stocks, and offering 24-hour on-chain trading.
