Robinhood Chain Fees Fuel Arbitrum Price Surge
Arbitrum's token price has surged by nearly 90% from its record low in June, following a significant increase in fees on Robinhood Chain.
The network, which was launched by Robinhood on Arbitrum in July, generated over $10 million in fees between August 31 and September 1, with daily fees reaching an all-time high of $4.45 million on September 2.
In contrast, the network that settles those transactions, Arbitrum One, collected just $14,000 in fees over the same period, despite processing 1.94 million transactions.
This disparity has led to concerns about the sustainability of Robinhood Chain's fee growth and its potential impact on the price of ARB.
