The Robinhood Chain has seen a surge in gas fees over the past 11 days, jumping 82-fold from $54,254 to $4.45 million on September 2.

This is according to data from DefiLlama, which tracks gas fees paid by users covering both execution and Ethereum data components.

The chain's base fee has risen exponentially over the past week, reaching a median of 0.467 gwei, 23 times its minimum floor price of 20 million wei (0.02 gwei).

This increase is largely due to memecoin launch activity on the platform, with Pons V2 collecting $6.09 million in fees over the past 24 hours and $26.33 million over seven days.
