Robinhood Chain Halts Block Production for Over 10 Minutes

The Robinhood Chain experienced a network halt lasting over 10 minutes, preventing new transactions from being confirmed. The disruption affected token transfers and smart contract calls during a period of rising activity in its DeFi markets.

The chain resumed block production after the estimated 10 to 14 minute pause, with early activity remaining intermittent. No reports indicated that funds were stolen or account balances changed, and available records showed a processing halt rather than a confirmed security breach.

The Robinhood Chain is a Layer 2 solution built using Arbitrum technology, allowing transactions to be processed off-chain from the Ethereum network before being added back as settlements. The chain launched its public mainnet on July 1 for tokenized shares, DeFi, real-world assets, lending platforms, and trading applications.
