Robinhood Chain Surges Past Binance in Crypto Trading Market Share
Robinhood Chain has emerged as a significant competitor to Binance in crypto trading, according to recent data. In early September, Robinhood Chain and BNB Chain together accounted for 88.2% of tokenized stock trading on decentralized exchanges, up from just 2.3% in June.
This growth is driven by Robinhood's massive user base of over 28 million, which positions the company to become a leader in the crypto space. As of September 18, the total amount of tradeable tokenized stocks on Robinhood's platform reached $146 million, demonstrating strong performance in attracting inflows.
While Robinhood's crypto revenue declined by 38% to $100 million in Q2 2026, the revenue potential from network activity remains significant. A quick recovery after the end of subsidized gas fees could have a positive impact on shareholders.
