Robinhood Chain Surges Past Competitors to $1M in Revenue

Robinhood Chain, an Ethereum Layer-2 network built on Arbitrum's technology, has reached a revenue milestone of $1 million in just two months since its launch. This achievement is significant, given that it only went live on the public mainnet 60 days ago.

The chain generated almost 20x more revenue on August 30th than it did just 10 days earlier, with its revenue jumping to $1.087 million by the end of the month. In comparison, Arbitrum generated $108k and Ethereum only $155 during the same period.

Arbitrum was quick to boast about this milestone on X, stating that 10% of Robinhood Chain's revenue flows back to its network. However, with only 1% of fees returning to Ethereum, the market has become skeptical about the impact of Robinhood's on-ramp on Ethereum's ability to capture transaction fees.

The growing activity is putting pressure on Solana's dominance in the DEX space, with Robinhood Chain recently hitting a record $1.4 billion daily DEX volume, more than Ethereum's $1.2 billion and coming closer to Solana's $2.4 billion.
