Robinhood Chain Surges Past Ethereum, Hyperliquid in App Revenue

Robinhood Chain has made a significant splash in the crypto space by surpassing Ethereum and Hyperliquid in app revenue, according to recent data. On August 31, Robinhood Chain earned $2.66 million in application fees over a 24-hour period, outpacing Ethereum's $1.27 million and Hyperliquid's $1.7 million on the same day.

The majority of this revenue came from three apps: Gmgn, Pons, and Uniswap, which accounted for nearly 88% of Robinhood Chain's earnings that day. This suggests that users are actively utilizing the network for tokenized real-world assets, stock tokens, and ETFs.

While this achievement is impressive, it's essential to note that Hyperliquid still dominates in terms of trading volume, processing $8.9 billion in perpetual futures volume last month compared to Robinhood Chain's $5.9 million on the same day. However, Robinhood Chain's success in app revenue indicates its ability to route retail trading activity onto its own chain, generating fees that would otherwise flow to Ethereum or Base.
