Robinhood Chain Surpasses $900M in TVL, Driven by Memecoin-Tokenized Stock Loop
Rapid growth has propelled Robinhood Chain to near $1 billion in total value locked (TVL), just over two months after its launch on July 1. The platform's daily decentralized exchange trading volume reached a record high of $1.88 billion on September 13, accounting for more than half of Uniswap's total volume.
The growth drivers behind Robinhood Chain include its permissionless structure, gas-fee subsidies, and the link between memecoins and tokenized stocks. Analyst Mark Palmer notes that developers can issue tokens freely without separate approval, with approximately 10,000 tokens launched daily through Pons, a token issuance platform.
A virtuous cycle is driving growth as memecoins and tokenized stocks reinforce each other's trading demand. Long.xyz, a token issuance platform on Robinhood Chain, allows community tokens to be linked to Robinhood's tokenized stocks, increasing interest in both.
