Robinhood Crypto Trading Volume Surges to $17 Billion in September
Robinhood's cryptocurrency trading volume in September ran at a pace 25% higher than its August average, signaling a rebound from July's low. The company recorded a preliminary September daily volume of approximately $708 million across 24 trading days.
The total September volume reached about $17 billion through Sept. 24, with $7 billion coming through the Robinhood app and $10 billion on Bitstamp. This marks a significant increase from August's crypto notional volume of $17.5 billion across 31 trading days.
August's average daily volume was $565 million per day, which is still lower than September's pace. However, it's worth noting that the company's July performance was weaker, with an average daily volume of just $352 million and a total volume of $10.9 billion.
The data also shows that August 2026's crypto trading volume was 38% below the $28.1 billion recorded in August 2025.
