Robinhood Expands Perpetual Futures Beyond Crypto
Rights-trading app Robinhood has expanded its perpetual futures offerings in Europe to include traditional assets like commodities, ETFs, and foreign exchange pairs. This move marks a significant leap beyond its initial focus on crypto-only perps.
The platform now allows eligible European customers to trade perps linked to gold, crude oil, popular ETFs like QQQ and EWY, and FX pairs including EUR/USD. These assets are available with up to 10x leverage and can be traded 24/7.
This expansion is part of Robinhood's broader international strategy, which includes pursuing crypto trading capabilities in the UK, entering the Canadian market through its acquisition of WonderFi, and seeking a capital markets service license in Singapore.
