Robinhood Eyes Crypto.com Deal for Prediction Market Expansion
Robinhood is reportedly exploring a partnership with Crypto.com to expand its prediction markets business. The talks center on integrating Crypto.com's event contract products into Robinhood's trading platform, which would give users access to yes-or-no contracts tied to real-world outcomes.
The move signals Robinhood's push to broaden its footprint beyond traditional stock and crypto trading. Currently, Robinhood offers prediction market contracts through Kalshi, but a deal with Crypto.com would add another major supplier in this space.
Crypto.com has been building out its prediction market footprint since entering the industry through its derivatives arm in late 2024. The company later launched a standalone platform called OG in February 2026, and struck a partnership with Trump Media in late 2025 to bring prediction market services to the Truth Social platform.
Industry observers note that a tie-up with Robinhood would extend Crypto.com's reach into one of the largest retail trading apps in the United States, giving it another avenue to scale its event contract volume. With recent events showing the scale involved - World Cup prediction market volume reached $27 billion, and Super Bowl prediction market volume came in near $1 billion - regulation remains a key unresolved question for the industry.
