Robinhood is reportedly exploring an agreement to integrate Crypto.com event contracts into its platform. This move would expand its prediction-market business and provide customers with more choices across various categories, including sports, politics, economics, and cryptocurrency events.
The proposed deal comes as the company diversifies its exchange network by distributing contracts supplied by Kalshi, Interactive Brokers' ForecastEx, and Rothera, its joint venture with Susquehanna International Group. In January, Rothera acquired a CFTC-licensed exchange and clearinghouse, giving Robinhood greater control over product development, distribution, liquidity, and contract access.
The integration of Crypto.com contracts would further expand Robinhood's available contract pool, reducing its reliance on any single exchange provider. Kalshi, which already supplies contracts through Robinhood, would likely face the most immediate impact from this move.
