Robinhood Invests $25M in Crusoe, Valuing AI Infrastructure Firm at $30.9B
Retail investors can now gain exposure to Crusoe, an AI infrastructure firm, through Robinhood's new fund after the company placed a $25 million bet on the startup.
The investment round, which closed August 31, valued Crusoe at $30.9 billion post-money, up from $10 billion just ten months earlier.
Crusoe began as a Bitcoin mining operation in 2018 but shifted focus to AI infrastructure after selling its mining assets and Digital Flare Mitigation subsidiary to NYDIG in 2025.
The company has deployed over 425 modular data centers across seven U.S. states and Argentina, with a total contracted value exceeding $140 billion.
