Robinhood Launches Ethereum Price Prediction Market for 2026
Robinhood has launched a prediction market for the price of Ethereum (ETH) on October 5, 2026, at 4:00 PM EDT. The platform is offering several contracts with different price targets and payouts. For example, predicting that ETH will be at $2,705 or above comes with a 99¢ payout, while a prediction of $2,845 or above offers 77¢. Smaller price targets like $2,710 or above are also available, with a 1¢ payout.
The outcome of the contract will be determined using CF Benchmarks' Real Time Index (RTI). In the final minute before expiration, 60 RTI prices will be collected, and the official value will be the average of these prices. Payouts are usually made within an hour of event resolution, and participants can either earn $1 for every correct prediction or close their position before the event resolves.
Robinhood Derivatives, LLC offers these event contracts through various exchanges, including KalshiEX LLC and North American Derivatives Exchange, Inc. The platform emphasizes that trading involves significant risk and is not suitable for everyone. Additional fees apply, and persons with material non-public information or those employed by source agencies are prohibited from trading.
