The blockchain landscape has undergone significant changes in 2026, with networks specializing in specific use cases. According to Cryptorank, leading chains have developed distinct value propositions and targeted sectors, reducing reliance on artificial incentives.

Robinhood chain stands out as the leader in meme trading, accounting for more than half of its on-chain transactions. Despite Solana's association with meme tokens, Robinhood has emerged as the most active venue for this trend.

The total value locked (TVL) on Robinhood skyrocketed to $1.4 billion by late August, a 93% increase from the previous month. This surge is attributed to bullish momentum and increased adoption of tokenized real-world assets. Arbitrum led quarterly net inflows with $1.9 billion.

User activity metrics show varied patterns across different chains. BNB Chain and TRON record over 3.5 million daily active wallets each, while Solana reached a notable peak with 5 million daily active addresses in recent days.
