Robinhood Lists MORPHO Token, Deepening DeFi Lending Bet
Robinhood has taken its DeFi lending bet to the next level by listing the MORPHO token for trading on its platform. This move gives Robinhood's massive retail user base direct exposure to one of DeFi's most prominent lending protocols.
Morpho has been working closely with Robinhood since July 2026, when it became the lending infrastructure powering Robinhood Earn, a self-custody yield product that lets select US customers lend the USDG stablecoin through Morpho vaults on the Robinhood Chain. This product targets roughly 7% APY.
The listing of MORPHO token is significant, as it marks a shift from being an infrastructure partner to a tradeable asset. Morpho has reported over $11 billion in deposits and has generated millions in fees, putting it in the upper tier of decentralized lending protocols.
With its integration into Robinhood Earn, total value locked on the Robinhood Chain saw inflows exceeding $500 million within a month. This rapid growth is a testament to the demand for DeFi products among retail investors.
