Robinhood Predicts Bitcoin Price for October 2026
On October 5, 2026, at 7 PM EDT, the price of Bitcoin (BTC) will be a key focus for traders and investors. Robinhood is offering event contracts that predict whether the price will reach or exceed specific thresholds. Contracts are available for prices starting at $85,200, with incremental targets up to $85,600. Each contract pays out 99 cents if the prediction is correct.
The contract resolution will be based on CF Benchmarks' Real Time Index (RTI). The final price will be determined by averaging 60 RTI prices collected in the last minute before expiration. Payouts typically occur within an hour of event resolution. Traders can either hold their contracts until resolution or close their positions before the event concludes.
There are restrictions on who can trade these contracts. Persons employed by any of the Source Agencies or those holding material, non-public information on Bitcoin are prohibited from trading. Additional fees apply for these event contracts, and traders should review the full contract terms and conditions before participating.
Trading in futures, options on futures, and cleared swaps involves significant risk and may not be suitable for everyone. Robinhood Derivatives, LLC offers these contracts through various exchanges, including KalshiEX LLC and ForecastEX, LLC.
