Robinhood Predicts Ethereum Price Range for 2026
Robinhood has launched a prediction market for the price of Ethereum (ETH) on October 5, 2026, at 4 PM EDT. The platform is offering several price ranges for traders to predict, including $2,705 to $2,709.99, $2,710 to $2,714.99, and $2,700 to $2,704.99. The contract will resolve based on CF Benchmarks' Real Time Index (RTI), ensuring accuracy through the average of 60 RTI prices collected just before expiration.
Traders can earn $1 for every contract they own if their prediction is correct. Alternatively, they have the option to close their position before the event resolves, though additional fees may apply. The platform emphasizes that not all cryptocurrency price data is the same, and the price used to determine the market outcome is based on CF Benchmarks' RTI.
Robinhood also outlines trading prohibitions, noting that persons employed by any of the Source Agencies or those holding material, non-public information on the underlying asset are not permitted to trade on the contract. The platform highlights the risks associated with futures, options on futures, and cleared swaps trading, advising users to carefully consider whether such trading is appropriate for their personal financial circumstances.
