Robinhood Rolls Out Perpetual Futures with 10x Leverage, Bolstering Bullish Outlook
Retail investors are getting more tools to trade Bitcoin and Ethereum contracts on Robinhood's platform. The brokerage is rolling out US crypto perpetual futures with up to 10x leverage, along with AI trading agents that offer research and execution within the app.
The move comes as K33 found a significant reduction in futures open interest, leaving the market less vulnerable to forced selling. This 'reset' could provide an opportunity for bulls to push prices higher in October, often called 'Uptober' by traders.
However, reaching a target price of $400,000 by 2030, as proposed by Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong, requires different evidence and a much larger proposition than an October rebound. According to K33's data, Bitcoin would need to rise approximately 382% from its current levels around $83,000.
