Robinhood Stock Rises After HOOD Summit Keynote: New Features Announced
Robinhood Markets' stock price rose about 2% in overnight trading after the HOOD Summit keynote, where the company announced several new features and products. The summit was a product event, not a numbers event, according to FinanceFeeds.
The announcements included Robinhood Agents, AI agents that research markets and trade on a customer's instructions, Agent Apps with third-party data, 24/7 weekend equities trading, perpetual futures on eight crypto assets, Cboe earnings contracts, Robinhood Social, and extended options hours. However, most of these products are 'coming soon' and won't impact revenue until 2027.
The stock price currently sits at $116.22, about 24% below its 52-week high of $153.86. Analysts expect the stock to reach $133, which is the base case, or return to the 50-day average of $105.03, which is the bear case.
The third quarter's volume data will be crucial in determining the stock price, with crypto and options beating consensus and event contracts still growing month on month.
