Robinhood Traders Can Bet on BTC Price on Sep 30, 2026
A prediction market on Robinhood is offering traders a chance to bet on the price of Bitcoin (BTC) at a specific point in time. The contract, which expires on September 30, 2026, at 1 pm EDT, allows participants to predict whether the BTC price will be above or below certain thresholds.
The market uses CF Benchmarks' Real Time Index (RTI) to determine the official and final Bitcoin price. This index collects 60 RTI prices in the minute leading up to expiration, and the average of these prices is used as the final value.
Winners will receive $1 for every contract they own if their prediction is correct. However, there are restrictions on who can participate: employees of certain agencies and individuals with material non-public information about Bitcoin are not permitted to trade on this contract.
