Robinhood Unleashes 10x Leverage for US Crypto Traders
Retail trading platform Robinhood has announced plans to launch perpetual futures for eligible U.S. customers, allowing them to trade with up to 10x leverage on Bitcoin and Ether.
The eight supported crypto assets will include BTC, ETH, SOL, XRP, DOGE, ADA, LINK, and HYPE, with the highest leverage limit at 10x for BTC and ETH, and 3x for the other six assets.
Robinhood's planned U.S. product will have no expiration date, and profit and loss will be settled every 15 minutes. The company will charge a fee of 0.01% per trade through the end of 2026.
The rollout is expected to happen in the coming months, with Bitstamp supporting the contracts under Robinhood Derivatives, which is a CFTC-registered futures commission merchant and NFA member.
