Robinhood's Blockchain Soars to New Heights
Roninhood Chain's user base has grown significantly since its launch on July 1. The blockchain, developed by online brokerage Robinhood, has more than tripled in size since mid-July.
The growth is largely driven by the increasing adoption of tokenized stocks, which are digital tokens representing real-world assets like stocks on a blockchain. According to DefiLlama, real-world assets (RWAs) on Robinhood Chain reached around $70 million by late July.
Twelve tokenized stocks now exceed $500,000 in daily trading volume. The most popular tokenized stocks during the month included GameStop, Nvidia, and SpaceX, with a combined trading volume of approximately $47 million.
