Robinhood's Crypto Bet Pays Off with $3.6M Revenue Haul
Royalty-free financial trading app Robinhood is experiencing significant growth in its crypto business, particularly with its Ethereum Layer 2 network. According to Blockworks Research, Robinhood Chain generated $3.6 million in revenue for July, outperforming other L2 networks like Polygon PoS and Base.
This achievement places Robinhood Chain at the top of the list, indicating a strong performance in the crypto market. The gap between Robinhood Chain and other networks is substantial, with Arbitrum One generating $533,000 and Starknet and Celo bringing in roughly $137,000 and $119,000, respectively.
Furthermore, this success coincides with Robinhood's expansion into new markets, including the addition of 50 new crypto assets for UK users. The company's growing presence in the crypto space has sparked speculation about its potential valuation, which some believe could reach as high as $300 billion.
