Robinhood's Event-Contract Revenue Surpasses Crypto as Q2 Earnings Reach Record High

Share

Retail brokerage Robinhood reported record quarterly revenue of $1.31 billion in Q2 2026, marking a 32% year-over-year increase.

The company's event-contract revenue topped $156 million, more than ten times the year-earlier amount and exceeding its crypto transaction revenue for the quarter.

This growth was driven by volatile markets and major sporting events, which drew customers to equities, options, and prediction markets. Event contracts now make up a larger share of Robinhood's revenue than cryptocurrency, with customers trading a record 13.6 billion event contracts in Q2.
