RockawayX Seeks $150M for Undervalued Token Fund Led by Relayer's Austin Barack
RockawayX, a Prague-founded firm that oversees around $2 billion in assets across various divisions, is seeking $150 million for a new liquid opportunities fund. The fund will focus on undervalued tokens and crypto-related equities, allowing RockawayX to gain exposure to assets that can be traded more easily than private investments held through its existing venture funds.
Austin Barack, the founder of Relayer Capital, will manage the investment vehicle after RockawayX acquired the hedge fund. According to sources cited by Forbes, Relayer returned approximately 70% in 2026, with contributions from positions in Hyperliquid and Venice AI.
The planned strategy for the new fund differs from RockawayX's venture approach because it targets liquid tokens and public equities that can be bought or sold without waiting for a private company exit or token vesting schedule.
