Roundtable's DeFi Payment Platform Goes Live, Revolutionizing Journalist Payments
Roundtable's new DeFi media payment platform has gone live, revolutionizing how journalists get paid for their work. The platform, built on Coinbase's USDC infrastructure, settles advertising revenue with journalists in real-time through smart wallets tied to their Coinbase accounts.
The system eliminates the need for traditional payment intermediaries and provides transparency into the payment process, allowing publishers and reporters to have full control over how they're paid.
Roundtable has signed a ten-year contract with Paradium.AI (formerly Arena Group) to migrate $100 million in advertising payments from a legacy fiat system to its Web3, AI-driven Media OS. The company forecasts $100 million in annualized revenue and an EBITDA-positive run rate on a stand-alone basis once the deal closes.
Liz Truss, former UK Prime Minister and Foreign Secretary, has joined Roundtable's Board of Directors and is promoting the platform to major European media brands.
