Roundtable's DeFi Payment Platform Revolutionizes Media Industry

Roundtable's new DeFi media payment platform has gone live, allowing journalists to receive ad payments in real-time through Coinbase's $USDC infrastructure. The platform eliminates the need for traditional payment intermediaries and provides transparency into the payment process.

The company claims that this shift will end an era of slow and inefficient payment processing, which can take up to 90 days or longer under the old system. Roundtable has signed a ten-year contract with Paradium.AI (formerly The Arena Group) to migrate $100 million in advertising revenue from legacy fiat payments to its Web3 platform.

Former UK Prime Minister Liz Truss has joined Roundtable's board of directors and is promoting the platform to major European media brands. RTB shares began trading on Coinbase on September 23, 2026.
