Russia Expands Crypto Derivatives Access as Remittix Rolls Out Integrated Payment Platform
The Moscow Exchange has expanded its regulated crypto derivatives access to over 72,000 qualified investors. This move comes after more than $600 billion in cumulative turnover was generated from existing products by September. The exchange debuted Bitcoin perpetual futures on September 22, joining a lineup covering BTC, ETH, SOL, XRP, and TRX.
These contracts allow Russian investors to gain price exposure without directly holding cryptocurrencies or U.S. dollars. They are cash-settled in rubles but priced in U.S. dollars, with a margin structure that provides approximately 4.5 times leverage.
The Remittix platform is also contributing to crypto adoption through payments and financial services. By combining crypto-to-bank PayFi with Wallet, Markets, and Earn, users can settle supported cryptocurrencies as fiat into eligible bank accounts.
