Russia Proposes Regulated Trading for Bitcoin, Ether, USDT
Russia's central bank has proposed a list of cryptocurrencies that could be eligible for trading on regulated platforms under the country's new crypto framework.
The Bank of Russia's draft list includes Bitcoin, Ether, and USDT as potential candidates for admission to organized exchange trading.
To be considered, assets must meet certain criteria such as market capitalization, average daily trading volume, and at least five years of price history on international markets.
The regulator is inviting public comments on the proposal until August 24, which could lead to changes before final rules are set.
