Russia Warns Citizens to Avoid Telegram Transactions Amid Durov Charges
Russian State Duma deputy chairman Andrey Svintsov has advised citizens to refrain from buying Gram cryptocurrency and halt all Telegram financial transactions until official guidance is issued by security agencies.
Svintsov, who serves as the deputy chairman of the State Duma Committee on Information Policy, made this recommendation in light of ongoing concerns regarding Telegram's financial activities.
The warning comes at a time when Telegram's founder Pavel Durov faces charges related to his company's alleged failure to comply with Russian laws and regulations.
